Privacy policy
This policy describes how Neuroencoder, based in Zurich, Switzerland, handles personal data when you use neuroencoder.com, our documentation, our Python package and our contact forms. We follow the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What we collect
If you contact us we store the details you submit (name, email, organization, message). Our website host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs including IP addresses for a limited time. We do not use advertising trackers.
Neural data
The open Python package runs entirely on your machine; no EEG or other signal data is sent to us. Any future hosted service will be governed by separate terms and a data processing agreement, and will not use your data to train models unless you explicitly opt in.
Third parties
We rely on Netlify (hosting and form handling), Mintlify (documentation), GitHub, Hugging Face and PyPI (distribution). Each processes data under its own privacy policy. We do not sell personal data.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing contact@neuroencoder.com.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
